Apply, Pay & Submit Video

Complete the application form below, including your musical background, availability, and a brief statement of interest.

Applicants are also required to submit a short audition video (approximately 3–5 minutes) as part of the application.

A $75 application fee secures your place in the selection process and will be credited toward term fees if accepted.

Selection & Placement

Applications are assessed based on musical level, ensemble experience, and overall suitability for the program.

Selected applicants may be invited to a short live audition or interview if required.

Ensembles are then formed based on level, instrumentation, and availability to ensure the strongest possible musical outcomes.

Please submit a video recording (maximum 5 minutes) of a recent performance. The selected work should demonstrate technical proficiency and musical expression, and be performed with accompaniment where appropriate.

Commitment Statement
Participation in the Sydney Chamber Music Institute requires regular attendance, thorough individual preparation, and a high level of engagement in ensemble rehearsals.
Media Consent
The Sydney Chamber Music Institute may photograph and record video during rehearsals, masterclasses, and performances for use on our website, social media, and promotional materials.
Application Fee
A $75 application fee is required to secure your audition spot. After submitting this form, you will be directed to complete payment. If you are accepted into the program, this fee will be credited toward your term fees.
