Mozart's D Minor String Quartet — among the most turbulent and emotionally charged music he ever wrote — is set against the warmth of Brahms's Horn Trio, whose famous finale erupts into a joyous hunting-call rondo. A journey from darkness into light, with a few of Sydney's most talented students featured alongside the professionals.

Schubert's beloved Trout Quintet — playful, songful, irresistibly charming — is paired with the rich sonorities of Brahms's Horn Trio. Featured alongside the professional ensemble is one of SCMI's very first enrolled students: a preview of the mentorship at the heart of the Institute.
